Meet The Artist
I’m Carla McCubbin, a science teacher, a dreamer and a mom. At Five Season Studio, I strive to take the beautiful colors of the Pacific Northwest and capture them in paint. All of my art is simple, easy to follow and fun to create. Each class is about experimenting with color, enjoying the flow of the paint, and finding joy in the little surprises that happen on paper.

No experience? Perfect. Messy brushstrokes? Even better. Watercolor has a mind of its own, and part of the joy is watching where it takes you. I’ll guide you with tips and tricks, but mostly, we’ll laugh, experiment, and celebrate the happy accidents along the way.
